Amazing woman. I can understand not wanting to be a victim, but she should not hide from the fact that she has accomplished something remarkable here and could serve as an inspiration for those coming from similar backgrounds.
I agree. It almost sounds to me like she’s a little bit ashamed of being different while at the same time being proud of herself for what she has accomplished.
